Christmas has moved to October…

At Kibworth Antiques Centre we absolutely adore Christmas; every year we go bananas for all things Christmas – we even have our very own Elf, Isabella.  Isabella is one of our lovely weekend staff, and she is completely mad for Christmas.

So even though autumn is only just upon us we just couldn’t wait to get on with it and announce that there are only a few sleeps until we reveal this year’s stunning Christmas display – the official unveiling of our Christmas Grotto at Kibworth Antiques Centre will take place on Tuesday 4th October.  We have been very busy over the past few months designing and preparing this year’s Christmas Kibworth Antiques Centre extravaganza.  We’ve created a spectacular winter wonderland filled with simply beautiful decorations and tempting Christmas accessories for your home, including the adorable Patrick Penguin, Murray Moose and Oscar the Snowy Owl.

We’ve always felt Kibworth Antiques Centre lends itself so beautifully to the Christmas season, especially as our huge floor areas have enabled our dealers to each create their own cosy ‘shop within a shop’.  And of course our adorable weekend elf, Isabella, will be busy counting down the ‘sleeps’ until we can start offering our scrumptious homemade mince pies and other Christmas goodies (from late November) along with our delicious Illy coffee or pot of proper tea in our delightful vintage tea room, AJ’s.

So make sure you call in and choose your Christmas decorations and accessories in good time, and take some time to browse among the wonderfully unique items that over 60 dealers have to offer at Kibworth Antiques Centre, from vintage Kitsch to French antiques, for indoor homewares to unusual garden items, jewellery, glassware and curios and lots of wonderful unique potential Christmas gifts for your family and friends.

And don’t forget to pause in AJ’s if you fancy a bowl of homemade soup, a fresh panini, sandwiches or other savoury delights for lunchtimes alongside scrumptious home baked cakes with your Illy coffee or pot of tea.
